If you haven't yet heard Lord Byron's stellar album, Digital Crucifixion, it's time you made doing so a priority. In Internet speak, let's go ahead and call the disc five flame emojis. In blog speak, we'll go ahead and call it the best Dallas rap album of the year by a long shot.

On Saturday night, Byron hosted a listening party for the release at Epocha, the Deep Ellum streetwear boutique and art gallery with the name that nobody's sure how to pronounce.

The party was facilitated with free drinks that kept everybody socially lubricated on a profound scale. Buffalo-based rapper Jon Bap and Dallas' own jazz band Rache played sets before the reason for the get-together was played on the shop's stereo system, accompanied by projected visuals.

Byron even snatched the mic and spit a few bars from the album live along with his fellow Dallas emcee Mga-Czar. We had Karlo X. Ramos on hand to take a few photos of the event, which was without a doubt a religious experience. Check out his snaps fromt he party below.
