Scenes From Last Night's Camp Lo Show At Dada.

Before “Uptown Funk” was everywhere you turn, it was Geechie Suede & Sonny Cheeba's critically-acclaimed 1997 debut album Uptown Saturday Night that was all the rage.

Last night at Dada, the veteran lyricists, known collectively as Camp Lo, performed a bunch of nostalgia-inducing cuts from that classic wax, along with a handful of newer tracks from May's Ragtime Hightimes. In both cases, the crowd was super into what the duo was throwing down.

Warming them up was local performer Alsace Carcione, and DJ Love, who kept Dada filled with the sounds of classic hip-hop vinyl between sets all night. In case you missed it, we were lucky enough to be on hand to snap some photos.
