Last Night’s Oh, Snap! Party at The Whippersnapper Was Pretty Goddamn Ridiculous.

We described our first-ever Oh, Snap! party at The Whippersnapper last month as a sloppy good time, and, screw it, we’ll use that same terminology to describe last night’s second go of things, too. Why not? I mean, it’s true, right?

At this point, that’s just what we should probably expect of this monthly party moving forward, I suppose. When you throw this many elements together — comedy, live music, art, drinking, fortune telling and a DJ — things are perhaps bound to get a little unhinged.

Specifically, last night’s affair included stand-up from Dallas comics Brad LaCour and Scott Crisp, a live power hour set from 60 Minutes in Heaven, art from Jeff Thornton, a DJ set from Goody and a whole bunch of shenanigans from some beautiful people who don’t seem to mind getting a little sauced on a Thursday night.

This much we know for sure: We’re having a blast with this party, and we’re gonna keep this “random acts of entertainment” train going for the foreseeable future. Keep an eye peeled to our Facebook page for details on next month’s bash as soon as they’re ready to be shared.
