When I first set out to do this here movie podcast, I kind of figured it'd always feature a mix of new and classic movies alike. But because we're right in the thick of Summer Movie Season at the moment, we've kind of leaned a lot of the newer stuff of late.
Not this week, though! This week, I called up my buddy Russell Kirk, who suggested we discuss Alfred Hitchcock's classic thriller, Rear Window. Turns out, that was a great choice. For starters, I've never seen the film. But, also, it's a pretty amazing, near time-travel-esque experience to watch a movie made in 1954, you guys! What's changed and what's the same — these things are fascinating, in equal measure. Oh, and the movie happens to be great, too.
So listen in, as we talk about all that this week.
