On Action Bronson, After-Parties And The Gawker Labor Strife. Plus: Listener Emails!
If you're a listener of KTCK 1310-AM or 96.7 FM, you probably feel like you already know TC Fleming and Jake Kemp well. And if you're not a listener of The Ticket? Well, whatever. You're about to get real familiar with these two just the same. Wanna hear past episodes? You can check out IJB's archives here and on our Soundcloud page. Wanna subscribe to the podcast on iTunes? Well, Jake is sick this week. But, hey, you might be too after the weekend he describes having experienced — one that, yes, does includes some of that same gunplay Pete faced this weekend, too.
Anyway, that leads him to bringing up some pretty wack takes about my constitution, which I don't necessarily appreciate.
Speaking of things not being appreciated: The Gawker Media staff is this week voting on whether or not to unionize. By the time you're reading this, they've already had their vote. But, whatever, we still had fun considering and weighing their options.
From there, we of course head toward wider talk of unions at large, and whether they're good for society. Since labor conflicts are my catnip, it leads to some pretty fun chatter.
Also fun? In the last few minutes of this week's podcast, we make good on our threats to respond to listener emails. Among the things discussed in this portion: If you were going to get banned from one area arena, which would it be?
Want our answers? You'll have to give this week's episode a listen, then. — TC Fleming
