OK, let's just come out and say it: The Poltergeist remake is not very good.
This isn't because it's filled with groan-worthy corny jokes or overly fake effects or anything like that, though. Rather, it's that there are several storylines that just go nowhere and, worse, some giant holes in the logic of the resolution.
Helping me come to terms with all this for this week's episode is your friendly Central Track movie critic Kip Mooney, who recently reviewed the remake for this site. He hears me out on all of these problems and, I gotta say, I was pleased to find out that he saw much the same flaws as I did.
Yeah, it's a bad movie. But our chat about it is pretty good, I think.
