Talking Ex Machina And The Increasingly Human Natures of Robots.

Welcome to TC's Movie Podcast, which is pretty much what it sounds like. Wanna talk movies? Hey, so does TC! So listen up. Word up, time to talk movies again.

After complaining last week that Avengers: Age of Ultron didn't spend enough time talking up its potentially interesting artificial intelligence angles, I got literally one million suggestions to go see Ex Machina.

Well, guess what? I'd already recorded a whole podcast about it, suckers.

On with me this week is Dallas-based advertising-and-graphics wizard Skyler Thiot, a guy who's something of a big-time movie enthusiast to boot. In planning for this Ex Machina-focused podcast, Skyler told me this film reminded some him of Moon,, which I then went out and saw for myself. So we talk some about that film, too.

Skyler was right, you see: Both films deal with super interesting questions about how close something has to be to a human before we give it full rights. And I like to think we had a pretty rad little chat about that — and a whole lot else, too.

Check it out.
