Word up, time to talk movies again.
After complaining last week that Avengers: Age of Ultron didn't spend enough time talking up its potentially interesting artificial intelligence angles, I got literally one million suggestions to go see Ex Machina.
Well, guess what? I'd already recorded a whole podcast about it, suckers.
On with me this week is Dallas-based advertising-and-graphics wizard Skyler Thiot, a guy who's something of a big-time movie enthusiast to boot. In planning for this Ex Machina-focused podcast, Skyler told me this film reminded some him of Moon,, which I then went out and saw for myself. So we talk some about that film, too.
Skyler was right, you see: Both films deal with super interesting questions about how close something has to be to a human before we give it full rights. And I like to think we had a pretty rad little chat about that — and a whole lot else, too.
