On Rap Shows, Weird Dealings at City Hall and What Really Went Down With The Bin Laden Hit.
If you're a listener of KTCK 1310-AM or 96.7 FM, you probably feel like you already know TC Fleming and Jake Kemp well. And if you're not a listener of The Ticket? Well, whatever. You're about to get real familiar with these two just the same. Wanna hear past episodes? You can check out IJB's archives here and on our Soundcloud page. Wanna subscribe to the podcast on iTunes? If you want to know Jake's favorite rap show that he's ever been to, you'll hear it right off the top of this podcast.
Speaking of shows in general? We also preview the things we're excited for at this weekend's Hangout Festival, which we're both attending. Jake's less excited about witnessing my jet ski skills on the Gulf of Mexico. But me? I'm hyped enough about that for both of us.
Something we both agree on is LeBron James' bizarre fascination with his own head band. That's really about the only sports we talk about this week, though.
Beyond that, our focus is politics both local and global. We both think there might be some fishy stuff going on with why Dallas councilman Scott Griggs (pictured above) being investigated for a felony. Seymour Hersh, on the other hand, thinks there might be something fishy with the White House's explanation for how the Osama bin Laden hit went down. We're not fully sure what's what in either of these situations, but it's always fun to wade in those conspiracy waters.
Y'know, so long as we don't fall in. — TC Fleming
