Yesterday was both National Margarita Day and the 87th Academy Awards, so there's a greater than zero chance you're not feeling too hot today. Hangovers are real.

There's still time to find some Advil and pound some waters before tonight rolls around. By all means, you should totally get back on the horse if at all possible, because there's quite a bit going on. And if that doesn't work, don't worry; we know where to find some hair of the dog. — Cory Graves

Bad Suns at Trees (Sold Out)
Southern California indie rockers, Bad Suns formed in 2012 and in the short time since its inception, has managed to build up quite the fan base. The band's sound, which mines largely from '80s post punk bands like The Cure and Elvis Costello not only makes you want to dance, but touches your emotions with hints of musical depth beyond its members young ages. Update: Due to inclement weather, tonight's show has been postponed. Per an email from the venue, tickets purchased for tonight's show will be honored at that future date. — Lauren Rushing

Rob Delaney at House of Blues
Rob Delaney is definitely one of the more impressive comedians to come through town in recent weeks. For a taste of what's in store, score some free laughs courtesy of Delaney's Twitter feed. Come to think of it, that's what really got him noticed in the first place. Still, comedy's always best when seen in person. — Carly Seitz

Private Benjamin at Alamo Drafthouse
Still haven't come down off your Oscars buzz? Good thing for you, then, that the Alamo's screening the 1980 Oscar-nominated comedy Private Benjamin tonight. The film stars Goldie Hawn as a sheltered young high society woman who joins the United States Army on a whim after her husband dies on their wedding night. Be all that you can be. — LR

Hail the Sun at Sons of Hermann Hall
People sure do love handing out awards, huh? They can't get seem to enough of them lately. To wit, some folks on the Post Hardcore Subreddit recently decided mainstream award shows like the Grammy's weren't oddly specific enough for their liking, and started handing out their own uber-niche cyber trophies to the year's best hardcore acts. In their eyes, California outfit Hail the Sun turned in the best post hardcore song and album of 2014, which is worth something, we suppose. Brent Walsh, Psuedo Future, Evening Crowd, On Better Terms and Cities South open for them at this one. — CG
