Spit From The Dome.
In case you haven't noticed, it's balls cold. Even worse, it's supposed to be this way all week. So it makes sense that you'd want to bundle up and stay inside for the foreseeable future.
That might not be as good of an idea as it sounds, though. According to a former NASA scientist avoiding the cold might be making you fat– and not just because you've stopped exercising and been splurging on sweets of late. Because of things like heaters and sweaters, modern people don't really “experience” winter, they argue.
Getting out and shivering, they say, is good for your metabolism, and helps you stay trim. It's also pretty fun. To that end, check out all the fun things you'd miss out on this week if you stayed wrapped up in the warmth of your home this week.
