Check Out Deep Ellum Brewing Co.'s Latest Addition To The Deep Ellum Mural Landscape.

Deep Ellum is not exactly wanting more murals. The neighborhood has plenty already — more than most, to be sure.

Really: Just take a minute and try counting them all up in your head. Know, though, that if you come up with a list of fewer than 30 walls, you're completely nuts.

Still: These painted walls undoubtedly provide a certain charm to Deep Ellum, so news of another one is always welcome. To that end, allow us to point you in the direction of Deep Ellum Brewing Co., which just commissioned a new mural bearing the company's “Love Runs Deep” slogan from artist Michael McPheeters to celebrate its September-opened taproom.

Say what you will about the brewery and its sometimes-controversial ways, but its emphasis on graphic design has long paid off for the company.

Seems the intent this wall — which features a personified version of DEBC's smiling face logo and its Dallas Blonde character alongside Big Tex and Deep Ellum's Travelling Man — is no different.

Plus, it looks cool as the below David Wilson-taken shots of McPheeters putting the finishing touches on the mural definitely show.

Point is, these dudes know how to market.
