St. Vincent Gets Bad Career Advice, Proves She Doesn't Need Any Help At All.

Another week, another batch of proof that St. Vincent is a total boss as the part-time Texas-based artist born Annie Clark has popped up two new web-based clips that are making the rounds and well worth your time.

The first comes courtesy of Saturday Night Live player Vanessa Bayer's web series, “Sound Advice,” in which she poses as Janessa Slater, a media coach with the business acumen of, well, just about every media coach we've ever come across in our time, to be frank. Still, it's a fun bit, and Bayer's previously hammed it up with such acts as Drake, fun., HAIM, TV on the Radio and, yes, even Dallas' own Demi Lovato in the past. Here, it's St. Vincent's turn on Slater's couch, and the entire session is essentially centered around the fact that Slater's not altogether convinced that Clark's human. Check it out.

And, after you do, check out the below video — a full hour-long clip featuring St. Vincent's performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris from a few weeks back — in which Clark summarily proves herself in need of no real-life, outside consultant aid whatsoever. Haven't seen St. Vincent perform live yet? This clip is proof that you really, really should fix that ASAP.

Yeah, she's just the best.
