The People of Oaktopia 2014.
Say what you will about Denton's fledgling Oaktopia festival's second year — our staff, it seems worth mentioning, really dug it — but one thing you have to credit the festival for is its ability to draw young, diverse and sizable crowds.
That's no small feat, folks: Just getting any audience to pay attention to your festival in this cluttered current landscape has to be considered a major victory.
Even better? If the below images courtesy of our on-site photographers Ashley Gongora and Lauren Rushing are any indication, it appears as if the attendees of this year's Oaktopia very much enjoyed themselves at the fest — well, when not staring at their phones, at least.
