About a month back, we stumbled upon this clip of 20-year-old North Texas native Ashley Highberger offering up her take on that Com Truise, Phantom and Ronnie Heart show that went down at Club Dada in early March. Right away, we were smitten with her offbeat, delightful charms — so much so that we then asked her to share her thoughts on that Baths, Young Fathers and Dark Rooms show at Dada. Now, after a summer abroad, Ashley's back and at things again. This time we sent her to cover the Portugal. The Man, Grouplove and STRFKR show at the Southside Ballroom. Here are her thoughts.
On Saturday, August 30, the annual Honda Civic tour rolled through Dallas with indie favorites Portugal. The Man, Grouplove and STRFKR in tow.
