Neve Campbell Will Make Her First-Ever Convention Appearance At Texas Frightmare Weekend 2015.
Do you like scary movies? Here's hoping.
Because, though it's a still a ways off, the 10th annual Texas Frightmare Weekend, which will go down on May 1, 2, and 3 in 2015 at the Hyatt Regency DFW Hotel, is already lining up some pretty big names to make the occasion.
And, this past weekend, the all-things-horror-related festival announced maybe its biggest get yet: Now, in addition to the previously announced appearances from C. Thomas Howell (The Hitcher), Tara Reid (Sharknado franchise), Camille Keaton (I Spit On Your Grave 1978) and Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange), the festival has revealed that Neve Campbell (Scream, The Craft) will be joining in on the fun.
One of the most prominent actors in the horror business — perhaps the Scream Queen of the '90s — Campbell will be making her first-ever convention appearance at 2015's Texas Frightmare Weekend. It's a strong get for TFW, as the Sidney Prescott character had an untouchable innocence to her and Campbell turned her into something fierce.
Also cool: Campbell's The Craft co-star Rachel True will be coming to the festival, too. Here's hoping the festival wrangles in the rest of that cast — Robin Tunney and Fairuza Balk, and maybe even Skeet Ulrich — for an all-out panel on that favorite flick. And, hell, if Ulrich's game, maybe the fest can score a panel on Scream, too, with appearances from Matthew Lillard, David Arquette, Jamie Kennedy and Wes Craven?
Hey, we can dream.
Texas Frightmare Weekend will take place on May 1, 2 and 3. Get tickets here. If you want to be elite, Premium Passes can be purchased on September 6th at 11 a.m. CST. There will only be 300 of these sold, so don't wait on it.
