For Our Next Sound Select Show, We're Bringing Isaiah Rashad To Trees on September 11.

We've thrown some killer Red Bull Sound Select showcases to date: July's all-local rock bill, that killer Le1f show back in March, last November's Small Black-helmed affair and our first solo go in the local curatorial chair back last September when we hosted the new-to-town Black Milk's Dallas debut.

But we're especially excited to announce this next one: On Thursday, September 11, we're going to be taking over Trees in Deep Ellum to throw a Sound Select bash featuring the TDE-aligned, 2014 XXL Freshman Class-approved Isaiah Rashad in his first-ever headlining show in town.

Since the January release of Rashad's Cilvia Demo, the Tennessee-based rapper's fully established himself as one of hip-hop's fastest-rising entities thanks to a deliberate flow and a penchant for trippy beats. So, yeah, we're excited to have him.

And we'll be surrounding him with some serious local talent, too. Joining Rashad on this bill will be longtime Central Track favorites Buffalo Black, The Outfit, TX and Blue, The Misfit.

In other words? It will be a party.

And, as per usual with the Red Bull Sound Select affairs, it'll be an affordable one. Tickets to the show will run $10 at the door, but are going for a remarkable steal at $3 a pop with an RSVP right here.

As always, keep in mind that these shows are first-come, first-served affairs. An RSVP guarantees you a cheap door entry, but doesn't promise that you'll get into the show. If you want in, you've got to come early. So keep in mind that we'll be opening doors to this one at 8 p.m.
