Y’all Realize Diplo and Skrillex Are Playing The Dallas Stop of Mad Decent Block Party, Right?
For the second year in a row, the traveling EDM fest known as the Mad Decent Block Party is returning to Dallas for an installment, and, hey, that’s rad news.
Right? Well, sure: Dallas’ own fuzzy boot- and PLUR-filled offering on Sunday, August 31, in the lot outside Club Zouk should make for a solid time, thanks to a lineup featuring Big Gigantic, Bro Safari, Bunji Garden, Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus, Jack U, Jillionaire, Toy Selectah and Wrestlers, some of which were here at last year’s noticeably Action Bronson-less deal, too.
But here’s something you might not have realized about what makes this year’s bill so badass: Jack U is kind of a big deal.
No worries if your eyes managed to pass over that unfamiliar name without second thought upon first glance — it’s a project that’s still fairly new after being announced only last year.
So why care? Well, Jack U just so happens to feature two of the biggest names in the game in Mad Decent founder Diplo and EDM megastar Skrillex.
Surely that got your attention, yeah?
Well, consider this, too: As of now, Dallas is the only one of the Mad Decent Block Party’s 23 stops set to feature an appearance from the twosome.
Ain’t we special!
Even luckier: General admission tickets are still available right here for $45 a pop. Get some.
