We've been hot on TEAM* for a minute now. Last year, you may recall, we even named the Caleb Turman-lead group's first-ever single, “Am I Alive?”, to our list of the region's best songs from 2013.

And we stand by that designation, too. It's pretty clear, folks: TEAM* is going places.

For real, though. With only last year's self-titled debut EP in the books, the group's already scored a major coup: Just last month, Verizon locked up that EP's lead track, “Come To My House,” as the soundtrack to its latest national TV campaign.

And more is on the way from the young indie pop-rock outfit, too. Right around the corner, even: On Tuesday, May 6, the group will release its second EP, a seven-song collection called Good Morning Bad Day. As with the first release, the new album phenomenally highlights the writing chops of frontman Turman while expanding upon the already-bouncy vibe the band had previously showcase.

Case in point: Good Morning Bad Day's lead single, “I Like It.” A decidedly breezy joint, the song's a prime summer anthem thanks to its Vampire Weekend-like verses and unabashedly poppy hook. Good timing, then, that the band's been kind enough to allow us here at Central Track to premiere the cut. Better yet? They've even gone so far as to offer the song up as a free download.
