Get Messed Up.
There's a lot to get excited about this week — especially considering that, next weekend, Easter and our favorite culinary holiday happen to coincide this year.
Before that, though, comes one of the consistently best days in Dallas of the year: Record Store Day.
There'll be parties at independent record shops all over North Texas this weekend, sure. But Dallas' Good Records, in particular, has become quite known for its annual bashes over the years. Maybe it's because it's also the shop's birthday? Anyhow, they'll celebrate on Saturday with a Midlake acoustic set; Stardeath and White Dwarfs, who plan on covering David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust album in its entirety; Kaela Sinclair; Oil Boom; Foxtrot Uniform; Madison King; Ice Eater; Son of Stan; Dovetail; Air Review; Buffalo Black; Nervous Curtains; Pinkish Black; and Wire Nest.
Should be another one for the ages.
