Our Favorite Food Photos of 2013.

From restaurant openings to festivals to at-home creations, we captured a lot of mouth-watering gastronomical moments around the region this past year. And what we learned is that there's no limit, no end to the desires of the North Texas appetite.

We’re rather fortunate, then, that — whether it's a late-night doughnut, a chicken-fried whole lobster, a local brew, a finely crafted burger or just some wild ingredient stored in the back of an area kitchen — Dallas and its surrounding region has plenty to offer.
