If you're like most folks, you're probably in the final stages of committing to the list of resolutions you're planning on instituting to improve your life in the coming year. If you're anything like us, cutting back on smoking and/or drinking and losing weight and/or getting into better shape are all probably high on that list.
But you don't have too much time left before the world is introduced to the so-called “new you.”

Sure, the Fort Worth-based band hasn't scored a major national hit in nearly 17 years, but they've remained one of the region's most popular touring acts all the same — enough so, at least, to sustain their own namesake festival for half-a-dozen years and counting. — Cory Graves

Are there multiple versions of Trans-Siberian Orchestra? If not, how does this outfit manage to tour basically the entire country in the span of the holiday season? I don't really get it. But, hey, we'll all have a chance to ponder that on tonight as the group takes its totally epic Christmas music to the AAC for this unfortunately timed, decidedly non-Christmas date. — Chelsea Upton

In our experience, rather than racking our brains when trying to come up with descriptors for raucous Japanese acts, it's usually best to just cut and paste things that these groups have said about themselves. In this case it works particularly well: There's no way we could come up with anything nearly as eye-catching as “death metal pop invader from Far East” when trying to describe Japanese punk band Azukiwashers.
