Scenes From Saturday Night's Sold-Out Sleigh Bells Show at the Granada Theater.

Throughout the entirety of Sleigh Bells' set at the sold-out Granada Theater on Saturday night, the crowd on hand seemed ready to fully give in and become one with the performers on stage. But, for all of its impressive lighting, ear-blasting sound and rock star posturing, the four-piece band on stage — guitarist Derek Miller, vocalist Alexis Krauss were backed by two touring performers at this show, which came in support of the group's just-released third LP, Bitter Rivals — seemed a little hesitant to return the favor to its young, intensely adoring audience.

Then, during the fervor of Sleigh Bells' final few songs, everything the crowd wanted finally came: Vocalist Alexis Krauss gave in to the crowd's demands, jumped out into its outstretched arms and sang a verse while standing atop one of the venue's dividers.

The crowd couldn't have been happier in that moment.

And Krauss, to her credit, seemed pleased, too, smiling ear to ear as it happened.

It would prove a quick moment, though: After completing that short verse, Krauss would crowd-surf her audience back toward the sage. Still, much like the rushed blasts of volume forever tied to Sleigh Bells' noisy sound, it was an effective ploy.

Loud as this show was throughout, it was that moment that friends of those in attendance are likely to be hearing about for days and weeks to come.
