Lip Service Is Here To Keep Your Party Going.

Spend any amount of time heading out to Dallas' more dance-affiliated offerings and you're bound to run into either Kenny Lucas or C.J. DeMarx — if not both of them, standing together, often toward the back, taking the whole scene in with a supportive, if critical, eye. This, of course, is assuming the pair isn't responsible for said offering, which happens to be the case just as often as not.

Under their respective We Are Dark Clouds and DJ TraDeMarx monikers, Lucas and DeMarx have been staples in the local dance party set for a few years now, dating back to even before the late-00's Fallout Lounge era they each helped make so memorable.

More recently, the tandem's been especially experimental in their offerings: It was these two — under their shared Lip Service banner — that were responsible for all those fairly epic late-night weekend bashes on Peak Street last summer.

And, already, the twosome confirms that plans are in the works for a similarly inclined offering this summer, too. But, while the details are being fleshed out on such offerings, the remix-adoring pair is choosing to stay mum on those bashes, instead simply asking that potentially interested parties keep an eye on their We Are Dark Clouds and DJ TraDeMarx web portals for information as it comes.

That said, the Lip Service crew was still willing to whet the palates of prospective late-night summer revelers when we hit them up and asked for a summer-themed mix to add to our ongoing series of the sort.
