SNL Greats Dennis Miller, Dana Carvey and Kevin Nealon To Team Up For One-Off Show in Allen.

In the boom-and-bust cycle of Saturday Night Live, the late '80s and early '90s, almost unarguably, were pretty much all boom — and thanks in no small part to three “not ready for primetime” players in particular: Dennis Miller, Kevin Nealon and Dana Carvey.

Here's how you know these guys were especially good, too: Since departing the show, unlike so many of their fellow cast members, all three have remained in the public eye, albeit to varying degrees of success (and in the unfortunate case of Miller in particular, disgust).

Anyway, here's the point: The three longtime contemporaries are teaming up once more. Miller, Nealon and Carvey will be coming together to Allen on October 19 to perform a special one-night-only stand-up engagement at the Allen Event Center. Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 3, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

No word yet on ticket prices, but seeing as there's only a single other performance from this threesome currently scheduled — that one's going down in late May in Atlantic City — it should, if nothing else, prove a unique night.
