Study The Groove With Ryan Leslie.
April 9 has traditionally been something of an historic day when it comes to putting an end to bitter wars.
On this date in 1865, General Robert E. Lee of the Confederate Army surrendered the Army of Northern Virginia to Ulysses S. Grant, the general of the Union Army, at the Appomattox Courthouse in Virginia. This ultimately put an end to the Civil War.
Also on this date, in 1970, Paul McCartney announced that he quit the Beatles. That ultimately lead to the end of the band and some diss tracks.
Tonight, meanwhile, you can fight the good fight against the working week. You've go some decent ammo, too.
Ryan Leslie at House of Blues Cambridge Room

Legendary thrash metal outfit Anthrax heads this affair, and promises something of a treat at this show, too: They'll be playing their 1987 album, Among the Living, in full at this one. Exodus, High On Fire, Municipal Waste and Holy Grail round out this stacked bill.
Drafty PANTS: Print Show at Oak St. DraftHouse

Henson Alternative's Stuffed and Unstrung at Bass Performance Hall
“Stuffed and Unstrung” promotes itself as a live variety comedy show for adults only. Think about that: The Jim Henson Company is bringing an adult-friendly puppet show to Fort Worth. Jim Henson is the creator of The Muppets, by the way. If you haven't lost all of your innocence yet, this is where it will happen.
