Scenes From Last Night's Ramona Falls Show at Dada.
Portland's Barsuk Records-signed Ramona Falls stopped through town last night for a Club Dada show in support of their latest effort, Prophet.
That new album from the Brent Knopf-fronted outfit's a little bit of a change-up from the band, too. Former Menomena player Knopf toned down the acoustic nature of his new band's sound on their sophomore effort, adding some amplification and drowning out some of its more somber Pacific Northwest aesthetics.
Hey, it must've worked: Ramona Falls got some Billboard chart action with this one.
And so, though perhaps not as a direct result, things were all smiles during the band's performance as part of last night's bill, which also featured San Francisco's Social Studies.
