Calli Be Quick.
Each week, we team up with our friends at The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Texas (SPCA of Texas) to showcase a different animal that's in need of a loving home. We'll check out the animal, learn about its personality, do a short “interview,” take some cute pictures and report back to you on our findings. If any of the animals shown are to your liking, remember: They need loving homes free from abuse. If that sounds like your home, help them out.
This week, we sat down with Calli, a six month old tortoiseshell kitten. She's currently up for adoption at the SPCA of Texas (2400 Lone Star Drive; 214-742-7722).
Look how tiny you are! You must be like, what, three pounds? Tops?
I am small. And fast! Look! Now, I'm over here!
Um, yeah! You are very fast.
And now I'm over here! Can you see me? Can you?
Maybe you should stop moving so we can concentrate on this interview.
Am I too fast for you? Can you guess where I am hiding now?
No. I can't even find you. You're almost like a ninja or something. Will you come out so I can finish talking to you?
I cannot ruin my stealth game right now. I'm busying hiding in the shadows to hide from my enemies and then I'm going to attack them before they even know.
OK, then. I'm going to go now. Got any last words to share with our readers?
“Any last words,” huh? Is this an ambush or something?
