Have a Dance with Imagine Dragons at the House of Blues.
Everyone knew him, that kid on the blacktop who learned to be an asshole before everyone else. What a jerk he was, that kid. Reeking of mayhem and dry spit, it wasn't long before his behavior became definitive of his very existence.
Monday is the weekday equivalent to that turd. But we here at Central Track believe in change. So, every Monday, we take a look at what he has to offer, all in hopes that, this time around, maybe he'll be little more tolerable than he was the last time.
Yeah, he's growing on us, too.
Urban Adventure Quest’s Amazing Scavenger Hunt Adventure at Union Station
Let this Monday morning offering help you transform Dallas into one big, concrete playground. Starting at DART's Union Station, this Amazing Race-style excursion requires only a smart phone and about 40 bucks per teams of two to five people. The clues and challenges you'll receive and face will not only create an exhilarating day-long adventure, but will educate you on the ins-and-outs of local history as well. Technically, you can do this whenever you want, but doing so with the group gathering this morning should make it all the more fun. Be warned, though: They're meeting at 8 a.m., so you better hurry over there.

After having seen their popularity skyrocket with the release of joints like “Radioactive” and “It's Time,” Las Vegas' Imagine Dragons makes a stop in Dallas tonight. With Atlas Genius and Nico Vega warming up the House of Blues stage for them, this highly-anticipated, already sold-out concert sounds mighty promising. If you're among the few previously privy to the show and have already snagged your coveted tickets, know this: I hate you. Also, the doors open at 7:30 p.m.
Arts and Letters Live: Texas Bound at the Dallas Museum of Art
Acclaimed writers and actors of Lone Star origins will be reading selections of their own as well as fellow Texans' work beginning at 7 p.m. in the Horchow Auditorium.Among the guests: Reis McCormick of AMC's Breaking Bad, locally renowned stage actress Allison Pistorius and Stephen Tobolowsky, who you may remember as Goundhog Day's Ned Ryerson. Tickets are $35 or $15 with a student ID.
