Enjoy a Cold Beverage with G. Love & Special Sauce at the Granada.

This Thursday''s shaping a beautiful one. And, from the looks of it, it should transition nicely into an even more awesome evening. That's right: This Thursday features a cloud of intrigue thanks to the Toadies, a veritable fashionista heaven that can help you spring into next season and and a show featuring over a dozen artists collectively doing their thing.

All hail Thursday, this great day of the week!

Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me at the Winspear Opera House
The popular NPR comedy news quiz comes to the Winspear tonight. The Peabody award-winning show will be broadcasted to over four million listeners this weekend and, per usual, will feature a panel of comedians and journalists basically slamming the news.

G. Love & Special Sauce at the Granada
This Philadelphia-based band is hard to define. They like to call themselves hip-hop blues musicians, at least according to their Facebook page, anyway. But, honestly, they mostly sound like an alternative soft rock band that crashed into a laid-back hip-hop sound and then turned a corner into the early '90s. Should be quite entertaining. Speaking of the early '90s: Hey, that's when these guys released “Cold Beverage,” pretty much the only song most people can name by them!

FIG Finale at the Fashion Industry Gallery
Shopping on a budget? Check out the Fashion Industry Gallery's bi-annual designer sale, which starts today. The sale, which benefits the Genesis Women's Shelter, lasts all weekend. Our advice, though? Get there early for all the good stuff and for sales upward of 50 percent off. And, while you’re there, say hello to our pal Amber Perley, the local designer who will be appearing on NBC's second season of Fashion Star, which debuts on March 8.

Air Review at Dan's Silverleaf
These much-hyped Dallas-natives will be continuing their CD release party train tonight at Dan's Silverleaf in Denton. Check out what Air Review frontman, Doug Hale, had to tell us about the band's new album here. Spoiler: It's a good record, you guys.

Toadies Happy Hour at Lola’s Saloon
Lola's Saloon is kinda popping tonight! Word is Valden and Rez of the Toadies will be announcing something big tonight during their happy hour (which lasts from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) at this favored Fort Worth watering hole and venue. So join them for a brew, yeah? Then stick around for The Fibs, Spiderfriends and Ice Eater.

Synesthesia at the WAAS Gallery
This pop-up art show is jam-packed with the works of over two dozen local artists, musicians and poets, alike. As a bonus, there will also be an open mic contest, raffles and, best of all, free food and drinks after you pay your $8 (or just $5 with your DART pass). Better get there early!

Testament, Overkill, Flotsam & Jetsam and 4ARM at House of Blues
Testament's been thrashing since '83, which probably means they have some significant brain damage from constant head-banging. But, hey, that's pretty metal! This tour finds them supporting their latest release, 2012's Dark Roots of Earth, their tenth.
