A.Dd+ Freestyles, Tells Us What To Expect From Their Mixtape Release Show.

A.Dd+ has been on a tear of late. Actually, they have been for a while now — ever since they broke out following the release of their When Pigs Fly mixtape in 2011. At this point, it's fair to say that the duo of Paris Pershun and Slim Gravy just might be the best thing Dallas hip-hop has to offer.

And, after dropping loosies here and there for over a year, A.Dd+ finally has a new, complete project to unveil. On Saturday, January 26, Central Track will help present the duo's DiveHiFlyLo release at the Granada Theater.

It should be a memorable night of Dallas hip-hop, to be sure, as A.Dd+ will be joined by Tunk, -topic and rap collective Brain Gang on the bill. The group's own DJ Sober will also be on hand all night, dropping tracks between sets. You can expect some surprise appearances at this all-ages event, too, which costs $12 to attend.

In advance of that night, we recently caught up with Paris, Slim and Sober at the Granada, where the rappers happily offered up a freestyle over a Sober beat to help get us rightly hyped for their upcoming show.
