Our Most Popular Stories of the Week.

Between all the TV appearances, killer openings and fashionable people we covered this week, I think we can safely say that this week was a solid one here in Dallas. Need a reminder of how great this week was? A look back at our most popular stories of the week can help.

• They say Dallas is a vain city, and maybe it is. I mean, there's got to be a reason why this week's local music column, which looked at all the TV appearances local musicians are scoring of late, turned out to be such a popular read, right?

• You know who's having a solid week? Sarah Jaffe. Not only is she the most buzzing act in town and not only is she performing on Kimmel next week, but she's looking pretty stylish in the process.

• You know how we know that the New Myspace is going to be a big deal? I mean, aside from the fact that our review of the social media site's relaunch said so? The fact that said review remained one of our most well-read items a full week after it first ran. People are excited, clearly. Or at least intrigued.

• I think I read Robert Putnam's Bowling Alone three times in college. My geography professors just kept assigning it over and over again, and, rightfully so, as it's an intriguing look at the shrinking social circles of American society. But here's a question: If bowling is on the decline, how come everyone was so stoked about Bowl & Barrel's opening this week? Oh, because that place is awesome? OK.

• Speaking of awesome: That Perot Museum is pretty rad, you guys. But you already knew that.

Catch you all on the flip!
