Another Polyphonic Spree Video? Better Get Used To It.

If it seems like we just posted a Polyphonic Spree video it's because, yes, we totally did. But such is par for course these days: To celebrate their new holiday-centric full-length, Holidaydream, the Spree are releasing videos for all 13 cuts on the album.

Before you ask: No, we're not going to post them all.

We will, however, post two more videos that the band has recently released, if only because they bear some interesting local ties.

The first comes from former Spree member and the formerly Dallas-based oddball theatrical pop musician Corn Mo, who clearly lucked out on his assignment, drawing the shortest song in the batch — the title track, which clocks in at just 55 seconds long. But Corn Mo didn't slack off on his offering at all. Instead, he put together a charming little stop-gap animation clip for the song. Check it out below.

The second video we're going to show you today comes from Josh Jordan, husband to Spree choir member Jessica Jordan, who you might also recognize as the sick dude that the Spree came to cheer up in that one episode of Scrubs (he's better now). The first offering from Jordan — he tells us he's been tapped to direct two of the Spree's 13 planned videos — is a behind-the-scenes, home video-like offering for the band's take on “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire).” Check it before you wreck it.
