As you no doubt know, fast-rising L.A. rapper Kendrick Lamar was in town this week, supporting his widely acclaimed new, Dr. Dre-approved good kid, mAAd city release with a performance at South Side Music Hall.

You might not have noticed this, though: While in town, Lamar also dropped by the studios at KKDA-104.5 FM K104's studios for a chat with afternoon drive jock DJ Hollywood A Bay Bay, who himself has long been been immortalized in popular hip-hop lexicon thanks to Hurricane Chris.

The twosome chatted some on the air about the new album and whatnot but, far more interestingly, A Bay Bay also convinced Lamar to spit a freestyle about Halloween, the election and much, much more. It's an entertaining couple of minutes to be sure, and, fortunately for us, someone with a video camera was on hand in the studio to capture it all.
