Dallas Does Oral Storytelling Tonight.

Another Tuesday, another chance to exploit the gifts of Dallas. Today is a good day to learn about the interesting stories of your fellow Dallasites via Oral Fixation. Or you could check out many of the food deals around Dallas (like Deep Ellum's Deep Sushi.) Whatever you choose, make today not just another Tuesday.

Author Chris Cleave at DMA
Chris Cleave, author of previous novels Little Bee and Incendiary, visits the Dallas Museum of Art's Horchow Auditorium to discuss his latest novel, Gold, a book about two Olympic athletes competing against each other. If you're a fan of his work, don't miss out on a chance to ask highly important questions straight from the horse's mouth (such as “What inspired you to write on this subject?” or “Which Kardashian is your favorite?”)

Oral Fixation: Best of Season One
Appearing at the McKinney Avenue Contemporary, Oral Fixation presents a “best of” session tonight, featuring readings of audience favorites from the previous season, including stories of becoming a father, sleeping with one's high school Spanish teacher and waking up in a dog bed. This might be the thing for you — especially if you're bored of standing around the water cooler at the office, hearing your supervisor's stories about how cute his pomeranian apparently is. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Deep Sushi's Two For One
Need to impress your date with raw fish at a cheaper price? Grab a guy/gal for a Deep Eullum wooing. Deep Sushi offers two sushi rolls for the price of one tonight!

Tuesday Night Trash at The Texas Theatre
Tonight's Tuesday Night Trash showcases the film TNT3: 2020 Texas Gladiators, an ultra violent flick highlighting the survival exploits of citizens in a post-apocalyptic world. Join like-minded people that enjoy poking fun at bad art, and practice your popcorn-throwing skills at the back of people's heads.
