Fry That Frito Pie!

Every day until it closes on October 21, we'll give you the skinny on one of the many worthwhile food items being served up at the State Fair of Texas. Enjoy!

Day 9: Texas Fried Frito Pie.
The 2010 Winner of Best Taste in the Big Tex Choice Awards.
What is it? Texas-born chili, sharp cheddar cheese and Fritos corn chips rolled into a ball, lightly battered and deep fried. Served with sour cream and salsa — for no extra charge!
Where can you find it? Directly outside of the Creative Arts building, behind the Cotton Bowl.
How much is it? 12 tickets (the equivalent to $6)
