Every day until it closes on October 21, we'll give you the skinny on one of the many worthwhile food items being served up at the State Fair of Texas. Enjoy!

Day 7: Texas Nachos.
These guys have been around the Fair for years — and they just don't get as much credit as they deserve.
What is it? A mound of Texas-shaped tortilla chips with refried beans, nacho cheese, sour cream, guacamole, salsa and jalapenos piled high on top of them.
Where can you find it? Inside the food building.
How much is it? 14 tickets (the equivalent to $7).
