Tame Ryan Bingham's Crazy Heart Tonight.

I officially declare this Wednesday “The Best Wednesday of October 2012.” Why? Because both Ryan Bingham and Estelle will be performing tonight. Did you know they both have Grammys? That would make tonight a Double Grammy Slam. It's a thing, people!

Another reason why this Wednesday is so awesome is that the Where House is having a themed party to the tune of the 1979 cult hit The Warriors. If you go, a cool game to play would be to count how many times people say “Come out and play-ay.”

The Tontons at Dada
Houston's The Tontons will be playing at Dada tonight, and if you haven't already rocked out to lead singer Asli Omar's smooth, honeyed voice, then you should definitely consider it.

Estelle at Verizon Theater
Although she's not as big in the United States as she is in Europe, Estelle's got a Grammy and, likely, a packed audience waiting for her when she gets to the Verizon. Did I mention she has a Grammy? That means she's only an Emmy, an Oscar and a Tony away from reaching EGOT status. I believe in you, Estelle!

Ryan Bingham at Palladium Ballroom
You might know Ryan Bingham as the guy who made the brilliantly understated soundtrack to the 2009 Jeff Bridges vehicle, Crazy Heart. Or, like me, you might know him as that singer-songwriter with really shiny hair. The third option is that you know him as the second half of tonight's Double Grammy Slam. (This will catch on!)

The Warriors Party at Where House
Hey, a The Warriors themed party! Can you dig it? Wouldn't it be weird if, once you arrived at the party, somebody got knocked out by a flailing elbow, and then the perpetrator blamed you? And then you'd have to dance your way out of the Where House, which is problematic because, due to a “No Dancing” agreement, you left your Boogie Shoes at home? Yeah, that would be weird.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas at Sundown
The movie adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's semi-autobiographical story is probably best viewed while drinking. Luckily, it's showing at a bar! You won't be on the same crazy drugs that Johnny Depp's character is (hopefully), but you'll probably still be able to appreciate the film nonetheless.
