Remember: The Deadline For Registering To Vote Is Next Week!

On Friday, TurboVote.org has an easy step-by-step process to follow make sure you're ready for Election Day, Tuesday, November 6.

If you've moved within your county since last registering, though, a change in writing does need to be made to the Voter Registrar in your county. A list by county can be found here.

Are you a newlywed? Congrats! Recently divorced? Sorry. If, for either reason (or even just for the hell of it), you just changed your name, you need to make sure you update your voter registration certificate through your Voter Registrar as well.

In general, it's also important to remember to bring a state ID or maybe even a current utility bill when you actually go to vote on November 6, as there's been a big hoopla over Voter ID laws in Texas of late.

Regardless of who you think should be running the country, just be sure to vote. It's your civic responsibility. Have fun with it. Also, have fun with now being registered to be summoned for jury duty, too!
