The Granada Turns Eight Years Old Today!

You might already be preparing yourself for this crazy packed weekend (read: Index Fest, in particular), but don't discredit the rest of this week. Yes, there is indeed very much to do, and tonight is no different. There are spooky events, State Fair events and celebrations aplenty. Yes, Dallas is a good place to be in October. Or, well, any month, for that matter.

Menomena at the Granada Theater
Dallas's own Granada Theater is celebrating eight years strong of music venue-ing under its current ownership by having Menomena, PVT, and Team Tomb perform tonight. Show that place what a real anniversary party is like by donning your finest party hat and dancing like you're eight years old tonight!

Addams Family: The Musical at the Music Hall at Fair Park
Don't mistake this event for a gang of renegade goth kids singing songs aloud to whomever will hear. It's totally a real thing, and The Addams Family: The Musical debuts tonight at Fair Park's Music Hall at 8 p.m. This show follows along as Wednesday Addams falls in love and decide to get marry. And, boy, does hilarity ensue when her beau's family must come over and meet the Addams!

Red Hot Chili Peppers at American Airlines Center
In support of their new album, I'm With You, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be at the American Airlines Center tonight to remind you that you can still suck their kiss. Doors are at 7 p.m.

Ride to the Fair at Main Street Garden Park
Driving to the State Fair of Texas is just ridiculous. On the other hand, biking with a large batch of cycling enthusiasts is much more 2012. Make sure to bring all your necessary bike gear (helmet, lock, chain, pink streamers for your handlebars, etc.) and head to Main Street Garden Park at around 6 o'clock or so. Riding Fair Park way begins at 6:30 p.m. sharp.

Yelawolf at House of Blues
The Slumerican Tour is stopping in Dallas tonight with DJ Vajra, Trouble Andrew, Rittz and, most importantly, headlining act Yelawolf, who is an incredibly engaging live performer. Get your weekly (or maybe daily) dose of rap on tonight when the doors at 7.
