Scenes From The Ben Folds Five Reunion Tour Stop at the Palladium Ballroom.
After a decade apart, Ben Folds and his reunited Five stopped through Dallas for a gig at the Palladium Ballroom last night, sounding every bit like the band that this sold-out audience so fondly remembered.
They charmed and rocked and pleased and wowed, and, all in all, put on a hell of a show. So too, actually, did opening act Kate Miller-Heidke, who was hand-selected by Ben Folds Five to open the show.
It was a beautiful night, if one that took, oh, just about 10 years too long to happen.
Thankfully, last night seemed to make up for the missed time.
