For one night only each year, the highest-end stores in the country extend their hours and offer freebies, all in an attempt to give their offerings a more inclusive feel and to make the layperson more comfortable in this oft-exclusive world. But, even so, the event, which this year falls on Thursday, September 6, can be a difficult one to navigate if you aren't 100 percent sure of what you should be doing or where you should be going.
