Our Favorite Superfans From Last Night's The Dark Knight Rises Premiere at AMC NorthPark.

AMC NorthPark was jam-packed last night, as Batman fans awaited the midnight release The Dark Knight Rises, the epic finale to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. Many dressed up for the occasion, costuming themselves in their favorite Batman-related gear. Some even arrived at the mall and started waiting in line as early as 8 a.m. It was a sight to be sure.

Thankfully, it was also a safe one, given the tragic circumstances surrounding the film's premiere in Aurora, Colorado. And — again, tragedy aside — it was an impressive debut for the film, which earned $30.6 million in midnight ticket sales alone.
