Your Apartment Is A Mess? (Sigh.)

By Melissa on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 2:45 PM

Situation: Your apartment is a complete and total disaster. Hey, we get it. You intended on taking full advantage of this three-day weekend and getting your pad back in order. But now that the weekend is officially over, you're slowing realizing that you have done nothing to make your space more livable. You can't even see the top of the kitchen table through the piles of mail, your laundry has began to creep out from your bedroom and down the hallway, and the dishes, well, that's a story all its own.
Feelings: Overwhelmed, tired and ill-motivated.
Goal: First of all, you need to relax. Yeah, that sounds dumb at this point, but, really, life gets crazy, so just take a second to chill. Grab yourself a cute little TV tray and make a snack.

A cinnamon nutella raspberry s'more is definitely the best thing for you right now. This sweetie takes less than one minute to assemble, heat and devour.

You'll love it.

Ingredients: Some cinnamon graham crackers, Nutella, a couple of marshmallow (or, preferably, a "stackermallow" which is amazing), and some raspberries.

Directions:
1. Break a graham cracker in half.
2. Spread some Nutella on the non-cinnamon side of one cracker half.
3. Slice your raspberries in half and set them on the Nutella.
4. Place marshmallow on other cracker.
5. Heat both stacked graham cracker creations in the microwave for 10 seconds.
6. Sandwich both crackers together.
7. Enjoy.

A snack like this, with such little effort and such great taste, should put you in just the mood to get up and start cleaning that apartment.

On the other hand, remember, there is always tomorrow. And, hey, your friends here at Central Track would never judge you for putting cleaning off for just one more day.
