It's another concert-heavy week in Dallas, and that's never a bad thing. The Edge's massive all-day offering today out in Frisco is obviously the biggest. But there's plenty more where that comes from: Curren$y, Olivia Tremor Control, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Deer Tick are just a few of the week's other big-name performers. Also tonight, author David Sedaris, whose sister was just in town speaking last week, will be doing a reading over at SMU. And, this Friday, renowned fashion designer Jeremy Laing will take part in a trunk show at V.O.D.

Sunday (4.22)
EdgeFest 22 at FC Dallas Park
The 22nd incarnation of The Edge's annual concert series is headlined by The Black Keys.

David Sedaris at McFarlin Auditorium
The humorist will be reading excerpts from some of his new works.

Monday (4.23)
Curren$y at House of Blues
A hip-hop show so fresh we're a little surprised it's not happening at Trees.

Tuesday (4.24)
Modern Family panel at Winspear Opera House
Phil, Cam and Mitchell from Modern Family discuss the show with its creator Steve Levitan.

Wednesday (4.25)
Texas Rangers vs New York Yankees
Drop the claw on 'em, drop the antlers 'em.

Thursday (4.26)
Dig! at Texas Theatre
No better way to get pumped for the next night's Brian Jonestown show than to watch the band fist-fight on stage in this documentary.

Jeremy Laing at V.O.D.
Party with the Canadian runway designer before his trunk show.

Friday (4.27)
Olivia Tremor Control at Sons of Hermann Hall
Reunion show from one of Athen's original three Elephant Six bands.

Brian Jonestown Massacre at Granada Theatre
Drink the Kool-Aid.

Saturday (4.28)
Deer Tick at The Loft
The band actually cranks out some pretty convincing alt-country for a bunch of northeasterners.

Meat Puppets at Dan's Silverleaf
Oh me! The Meat Puppets are in Denton!
